Happy saint pats!

 | last night we decided we should go out and celebrate st. patrick's day by getting our drink on. only we weren't sure where we wanted to go. that's when i remembered the elegant pub (only i thought it was called the evergreen pub). it's a local pub stuffed into a corner of a strip mall. i expected it to be full of old people celebrating st. pat's, but it wasn't. there were a few younger people playing pool and then one really drunk old lady at the bar. she was decked out in all green, green beads and a green paper hat. she played a lot of older music on the jukebox and at one point came around insisting everyone in the place clap along with the music. then she was going to make jorn dance, but somehow he got out of it. when we left she made us all give her a hug goodbye. |
