 | Last night I went to the lair for guphy's book club. This time around we read a series of short stories. I sent them grimble because he is the best most awesome story. It's by clement freud and was recently re-published in the mcsweeny's children's anthology (which is also pretty great & I would recommend it). The other stories were brokeback mountain (who knew they got it on so quickly!), jamaica by david schickler and chapter 1 of the club of queer trades (can't remember the name of the author, but it's also great). We talked about the stories, drank some cider and bullshitted bullshitted. afterwards katy arrived around 10:15 and we sat and chatted some more (no book talk). It was a nice conversation (go japan) and I stayed out too late. Then I went home and watched lost (next week better be awesome) and top model (why did gina not get kicked out what??) and then I went to sleep. Zzzzz. P.s. Don't ask about the jackals |
