Nerd tour

 | This afternoon randall, jorn, samshrew and I went to the computer history museum. Randall wanted to check out the vintage computer festival 8.0. It turned out to be tour the computer storage display (awesome giant 10 mb dics) and a vintage computer swap meet. It was pretty great in a nerdsor way. I got to play some of epxy's impossible mission, so that was awesome. If you know that game then hurray for you, you're a nerdsor too (sidenote: that game used to be one of my favorites). Samshrew and I were one of the few girls there. Good thing I wasn't wearing my commodore shirt, I think I would have been totally hit on if I was. Oh and also there was this dude on our tour who actually restored a few of the machines on display, so he interjected and told stories a lot. I think this pissed the docent off, because he was so passive/aggresive about it. in a "oh that's interesting, but that machine is boring anyway, let's look at this one..." it was pretty funny... |
