There will be time for dips later
at around 8:30 she arrived and i somehow even managed to pull the sewing machine out and finish up a few projects there (which i'll talk about later, i don't want to spoil surprises). initially we were listening to music, but i couldn't decide what to play, so we opted for the television as background instead. at first i was going to put curb your enthusiasm in, then i thought, nah, i'll put seinfeld in. then i said. "WAIT! SPACED! we should watch spaced!" i'd been craving it for a while and it was the perfect fit. it is this show i learned about while living in the UK. sadly it's never been released in the us (i mean it's barely been shown here, just 4 episodes 2 years ago on bravo) so the dvds are only region 2. but if you have a region 2 player, you should look for them. cottenham chris once told me "i can't explain it, it's just surreal."
when juju left (many hours later) i was surprised by how much i had accomplished (again, i'll go into detail in a later post). made me realize how much time i just waste.
sidenote: i ate dinner before juju arrived. it was chicken in coconut cream with some red curry paste and some water chestnuts. i was a little worried though. we took the chicken out of the freezer on thursday night...5 days ago. i think it made me a wee bit upset belly.

i recently activated a uk sleeper cell for this very same goal, and have, in my posession, episodes 1-7 in divx format. perhaps we should screen them sometime.
(player 2 has entered the game)

Hello, this is cottenham chris here.
Glad you're still enjoying spaced -- it remains the best UK comedy product of all time ever. Will there ever be a series 3 though? Simon Pegg says yes, but won't say when.
Keep your eyes peeled for Green Wing -- the funniest show since spaced (Mark Heap [Brian from Spaced] is in it. it's MUCH wierder than spaced, not quite as good but still funny. Takes at least a few episodes to "get into" though.
