a lot of people have asked "why the name pocketpig?" and i usually say, "well why
not." but the truth is that it came from this fan i saw in a weird asian
store. it's a weird pikachu rip-off, cashing in on culture, type of item.
i gave it to randall and he always forgets to bring it back (he
brought it to work) so that i can scan it for everyone. here i have
found a site, unfortunately it's not in english, that has one of these fans.
here it is.
mine was a little different, it said "pocketpig, how are you?"
and for days i kept saying "pocketpig, how are you?" and then one day i said,
"hey i'm going to register pocketpig.com" and of course it was a joke, but then
randall said, if you don't do it, i will. so i had to do it. and i did.
only i didn't know what to do with the url.
for my birthday, cindy and scottel and randall bought me a palm pilot.
i downloaded a drawing program (see the faq for more info)
and doodled. one day i went to a restaurant with randall
and while he went to the restroom, i drew dinner. when he got back, i jokingly said,
"yes! this is what's going on pocketpig, i'm going to do this for every meal!" he just
looked at me and went, "raiight." and *pppt* i have it done it and it's what went
on pocketpig. so anyway, that is why it's is called pocketpig. it's not a weird
"body issue" or "bad self esteem." piggies are cute. i am a pocketpig.
