for lunch i went to zocolli's with scottel and gwen.
we went to the sit-down zocolli's (there's two of them)
and i ordered the veggie-minestrone soup.
i really felt like soup today, i woke up feeling sick.
i almost didn't come into work today, but i wasn't going
to be there tomorrow, so it would look bad to call in sick.
gwen got the french onion, she had never had it before.
i thought maybe she got it because she liked it,
i should have warned her about it's grease factor.

when i got home, it was time to do the new scottel/sabs afterwork ritual.
it's where we bitch and moan about how we don't know what's happening.
and we're not sure where we want to be or what we want to do.
i usually snack on something when we do this.
this time it was sundried tomato-alloute and sourdough bread.
they're starting my work visa paperwork now.
hopefully this means that in a few months time,
i'll be living in the UK.
it's what i wanted, right?
i think so, with excited frustrated knots in my stomach.
but like adam said, i'm going to need warmer clothes.

so thursday night is sushi night,
but i was orginally planning on driving home tonite.
it got too late and i decided i should wait for the morning.
by then, it was also too late for sushi.
so randall and i ended up taking a walk along the coast,
and then coming back and eating cereal for dinner.
my favorite cereal was on sale at safeway, basic 4.
it usually costs 4.99 a box and it was buy one get one free.
i think i should go stock up.
it's the only kind i really like to eat, but i never buy it,
because it never really seems worth it unless it's on sale.
