IRON CHEF AMERICANA, 2000!

today was the official iron chef american bbq
cookoff.
there were 5 barbecues in the backyard.
and there 7 teams.
each team had to make a full meal dish.
we then had a panel of out of town judges fulfill
a taste test.
there must have been 50 people there.
team gangin took home the trophy.

randall and i decided to go for giant prawn
skewers.
our running up dish was shark.
we should have stuck with the shark.
it was quite nice and tasty.

there was a similar competion for the dessert.
the fruit tart was great.
it took home the prize.
but the red, white and blue star pie was a very
close 2nd.
oh how i should have been a judge.
