randall and i drove into the city today.
on our way out, we stopped by the neighborhood
market.
neither of us had been there before.
we got sourdough chips and coffee milk.
it was such a treat.
we plan on going there again.

the drive to the city made me feel carsick.
i needed to get some food in my belly.
so we parked the car and went to denny's.
randall says someday he'll be a millionaire and
still eat at denny's.
i got the vegetable soup and turkey sandwich.
randall got the chicken strips and french fries.

we went to the city to have dinner with randall's
parents.
but they stood us up.
so we we ended up walking around all day.
finally we sat down and had some dinner.
rosemary garlic potatoes and a tomato-basil
pizza.
it was really tasty, but really crowded.
there were a lot of tourists.
i wondered how we fit in, we were tourists?
i'd like to think not.

after dinner we met up with scottel, cindy, aman and
leslie.
we met up at the orbit room and had some
drinks.
i had a bloody mary.
there were enough vegetables in it to start a
small salad.
no wonder it was over 6 bucks.
