today was too damn hot.
it was difficult to get motivated this afternoon.
it was really hot outside.
but i had to to to the bank.
i overdrew my account last week. i've never done that before.
i'm only getting part of my paycheck put into my british bank account.
apparently i'm going to need to monitor it a little better.
afterwards i went out and spent more money.
then i bought a smoothie at the cafe downstairs.
i don't why i never go there, they have really good juice.
but it was too hot to be out and about,
so i came home and ate some banana cake and drank my smoothie.

look at all the happy people
after a while, i got bored of sitting inside.
i thought about getting a hold of a few people, but no one was biting.
so i ended up walking down to the river by myself.
i brought some cranberry juice with me. iced cold at that.
apparently everyone in town thought to go down to the river.
it was really crowded.
they all seemed so happy.
i drank my juice and tried to take pictures of them.
but it was just too hot to be standing around doing nothing.
(the back of my knees were sweaty and that is just my breaking point).
so i headed back home and took a nap.
see it doesn't ALWAYS rain here....

i woke up later when the weather was a bit cooler.
i decided i wanted to eat some dinner, but couldn't turn on the stove.
(i especially hate cooking when i'm already hot).
so i just sliced some avacados, tomatoes, cheese, and bread.
it reminded me of the dinners i had in germany at michelle's grandma's house.
only she would've had some meat product like pastrami or ham as well.
afterwards i sat down to work on nmod2 for a little while.
but ended up talking to the samshrew for a long time.
it's been a while since i talked to her.
it's kind of neat that we can talk again.
for a while i was worried and thought we didn't have anything i common anymore.
