wakey wakey tired party eyes
last night i went to bed at about 5am.
i was on the phone for a pretty long time.
i'm talking at least a half a box of kleenex long.
so when i woke up i had puffy eyes and a slow start.
eventually i dragged myself out of the house.
i really wanted to work from home today,
but adam was coming down from leeds, so i had to go in.
however by the time i biked in, i was feeling a lot better.
and was able to start my daily routine.
lock bike up, go into work, get a glass of orange juice.
i love this free orange juice thing.
sidenote: this month's phone bill is going to be a fun treat.

creme blush
two gals, one american, one japanese, they sound like they're influenced by 80's new wave and japanimation bubble pop. also, my friend dcarner
built this site.
exit strategy
an 'open source' novel written by douglas rushkoff. a manuscript found in the 23rd century needs
footnotes so that the reader can understand our society. and you get to enter in those footnotes.
fun with english.
earth
in electrical terms it means ground.
"Do you know which wire is earth?"

outside meetings
at around 11, adam, andrew and i were scheduled to have a meeting.
we decided that we'd have it outside.
the weather was perfect for it, and there are a bunch of picnic tables.
during the meeting, i didn't understand where i fit into the plan,
so i sort of sat there looking back and forth between adam and andrew.
afterwards adam and i grabbed a sandwich and sat outside.
i had the pastrami, basil, mozarella, and tomatoes on a baguette.
we talked about how you miss talking to people you used to daily.
the other day he told me that i need a replacement scottel.
(how can you replace the scottel)?
i don't think it would ever be possible, but i think adam's right.
a surrogate scottel, or a scottel"bot", would suit me okay.

guess where we went after work?
at around 6 mikey came around asking if we wanted to go to the pub.
i had told myself that i wasn't going to go if it came up,
but it was such a nice day today and sitting outside sounded nice.
so i ended up going along. i had a pint of stella.
(i guess that's the drink of choice right now.)
afterwards i came home and made some udon soup.
i wasn't paying attention and overcooked the noodles.
so it wasn't that great.
the soup broth was okay, but it just wasn't the same.
