i surrender.

let's buy a bike

it's about damn time
this morning i decided to go out and run some errands.
it seems that i'm always running some sort of errand.
no wonder i never have any spending money.
i spend it all on these useless errands.
today's errand was to go to the chinese grocery stores on mill road.
i was going to see if they had any salonpas.
however when i got there, i completely forgot what it was i'd come for.
so i ended up buying pocky and guava juice.
then i walked further down mill road and into a bicycle shop.
afterwards, i biked home.

pork links.

i see dots
wow mr. greg g sure can draw neato-style. wouldn't you agree?

red bull scare
for all those kids who enjoy their vodka and red bulls. looks like you gotta slow it down, don't pound them down all at once.

salonpas
i never thought i'd want to go buy this stuff. my mom used to use it and i thought it was weird. but damn my shoulder hurts and i want some medicated pain relief patch....

pocket lint.

future bible heroes - don't you want me
after some thought i think my current favorite band would be anything stephen merrit touches. including this 80s hit that only the future bible heroes could make sound good.

fun with english.

mum
mom.

"Why don't you go ask your mum?"

hogshead for stella.

the un-spread eagle
since today was "the big day out," we decided we'd meet up and go out.
melissa ended up deciding on the pub called "the spread eagle."
too bad it was closed today.
when we tried to meet up there we couldn't,
so we went to the hogshead instead.
i had a stella.
i figured it was the weekend, so i might as well.
afterwards we headed out to parker's piece.
i took a bunch of photos and had some (cold) fries.

absinthe

everyone on board, the bus is leaving.
after sitting in the lawn for a while,
andrew decided to go to some of the shop stands.
(the rest of us already had).
mike and melissa had already left (they always leave early)
so it was chris, melanie, david, andrew, james and i.
chris and melanie mentioned the green absinthe bus to andrew,
there was a french absinthe distributor there distributing.
andrew decided he'd be up to try it if we were.
so andrew, james and i went over (the rest followed) and bought some.
i must say it tastes much better when served properly.
but still it just didn't do much for me.

noo-noos for dinner

yippee skippy!
after we'd finished our drinks, we decided it was time dinner.
david left, but the rest of us eventually made it to yippee noodles.
(which is conviently more or less underneath my flat.)
we purchased a great deal of appetizers.
i also had the yippee noodles.
then i washed down the whole thing with a small bottle of sake.
(so much for not drinking a lot, or not mixing alcohols.)
one of these days i'll learn.
at some point in the evening, chris asked me what my favorite band was.
he says i always say that "they're not my favorite band."
so what is my favorite band?
truth is, i'm not really sure. i think he was disappointed.
i hope you're not too.

stella at the bunshop

last stop, bun shop
after dinner we went next door to the bun shop.
i was going to have a cider, but stuck to the stella.
i don't really remember much of what we talked about,
but i do remember being in a good mood.
(and thus, i probably did a lot of nonsense, conversation dominating talking).
i mean i do that sober, so can you imagine me giddy?
this last week or so in cambridge has been really nice.
or perhaps my mood has just been really nice.
afterwards i went upstairs to my flat and really wasn't tired.
(i didn't feel drunk either, but i didn't know what to do).
so i tried to watch "lost souls" (i'd picked it up at the library the other day),
but that didn't really work.
i was passed out in less than 30 minutes...
sidenote: yes i know it's the same drawing from yesterday...
