when i got into work i was really hungry.
so i went downstairs and grabbed a sesame bagel.
i also grabbed 6 slices of tomato (3 for each side),
a packet of salt, a packet of pepper and an orange juice.
then i came back upstairs and ate it while i checked my morning email.

snag that chair, i've got a j-burger!
at lunch we went to jack's.
i had a jack's hamburger and a basket of french fries.
it's so nice to have a choice for lunch.
there was only one open table left and it didn't have an umbrella.
so we had to watch carefully to see when a table with one opened up.
eventually the one surrounded by hedges on 3 sides was free,
so we quickly shifted our stuff to that table.
it's my favorite table at jack's.
i don't know why, it just feels right.

could you bottle it up?
after work scottel and i went driving up west cliff.
people have been asking me what i miss from the us (besides the people),
and i never know what to say, but while driving i realized one thing i miss,
the air. the air off of santa cruz's westcliff is just different.
different smelling, different tasting, different feeling.
we drove about aimlessly and ended up going to 7-11 for a lotto ticket.
(we didn't win last time, but surely we could win this time, right?),
at 7, i had to go back to randall's house as he was taking me to dinner.
he had made reservations at gabriella's cafe.
i had never been there before, it was really nice.
i ended up having the mahi-mahi, it was pretty tasty.

again, alex wants to be famous
immediately after dinner, randall and i headed over to the redroom.
we were meeting a bunch of kids there for drinks.
i had a few bloody mary's as they make them really well there.
while there i met up with sam, her boyfriend ed, gwen, kat, scottel,
karenlee, sol, the girl who's name i can't remember, but i always want
to call her erin, and alex.
sidenote: alex always tries to ensure i'll draw him as a star.
that's why he's the only one with a face.
