utopia
this morning i left the house a little bit eariler than usual.
i wanted to stop by hmv before getting on the bus.
the new goldfrapp single had come out on monday and i wanted to get it.
the do a really great cover of olivia newton john's physical,
and it is the b-side on the new single.
after stopping by hmv, i grabbed a muffin from a cafe.
it was a corn flavored muffin with chocolate chunks on top.
probaly a bit too sweet and unhealthy for breakfast, but oh well.
i waited until i got to work to eat it,
this way i could wash it down with milk.

i bought this today because randall can't stop listening to it, can you?
since idrive is closing down their service i thought i'd try out yahoo's briefcase. let me know what you think.
easy, difficult? does it work? got any other suggestions? the only problem with this is that all files have to be under 5kb
so i'll have to keep that in mind, which could obviously hinder the selection process...

armed and dangerous
right when i was leaving work, our company's webserver crashed.
we're in the process of actually upgrading the machine,
and it was only a matter of time before it died,
but i had a bus to catch.
so i left, and i felt sorta guilty leaving andrew behind to deal,
but truthfully i couldn't have helped out anyhow, so i left.
at 7:30 a bunch of people were supposed to meet up and kingston arms.
melissa is out of town and toby joked that mike didn't know where his kitchen was.
so we were all going to meet up for a meal and a drink.
it ended up being andrews, sarah, mikey, mike, toby and i.
i thought andrew might still be at work, so i felt a bit guilty again.
but it passed.

it's a long walk home.
we were orginally going to grab some food at the kingston,
which was really great by me, as i felt like pub food.
but it was really crowded and we didn't get a table until 8:30.
(we were sat in the garden prior) and then they said food would take over an hour.
so we decided to go to the casbah instead.
i had the best starter there, but the rest of the meal was good but not great.
i should've stopped at the starter as it was so much food anyway.
all sorts of dips and pita bread.
afterwards i had to walk back home, mike was walking that way too.
we both agreed that we needed to sort out bikes.
