this morning i got into work and i was a bit hungry,
so i stopped by nadia's and grabbed a bagel and blackcurrent ribena.
i'm mad for blackcurrent "flavoured" things.
while i consumed my goods, i checked my email.
gwen had sent us pictures of the sign unveiling.
they were pretty boring, but exciting to see.
i don't know why. change is good, right?

this afternoon randall was going to meet me for lunch.
he wanted to see what nadia's was all about.
at about 12:30 he finally made it to the office.
apparently he had gotten a little lost.
but he found and we went to nadia's.
unfortunately, it was raining outside, so we couldn't sit by the lake.
so we sat in a conference room instead.
i had pastrami and mozarella with tomato baguette.
randall had a ham and swiss.

after work we were all meeting up at the bath (it's a pub).
orbital was playing in cambridge tonite, so a bunch of decided to go.
but we hadn't actually factored food into our equation.
we were just going to meet at the pub at 6:30.
i told andrew to call me if the plan changed any.
(as i left work a bit earlier, since i am now officially on vacation).
i showed up at 6:30 and chris was there fuming.
apparently a large group of people had gone to pizza express.
however they failed to mention it to the rest of us.
chris was bitter, but i was just hungry.
we went to dojo for noodles instead.
i had number 40. curry udon.

after dojo, we met up with the rest of the gang at the show.
the venue was relatively large, so it was amazing that we actually found them.
but we did.
randall and i had some cider to catch up with the rest of the guys.
everyone else seemed pretty well on towards drunk at this point.
orbital was pretty fun live, they wore those dj glasses.
plain black rims with lights on them.
scottel has a pair of them.
at the gig, randall bought a shirt.
unfortunately it's a bit too small on him, and makes him look effeminate.
but i still think it's cute.
