i saw a funny sight this afternoon.
i guess new hardware arrived or something,
but a bunch of the guys in the office were all huddled around this box.
the funniest thing was that were all wearing the same shirt!
(the company had given us all a purple type polo shirt for in celebration.
and you'll never find me wearing mine out, it practically goes down to my knees).
and what are the chances that they'd all (well 5 of 18 people in the office)
wear it at the same time?!? AND stand around a box?!?
i took a picture and then went to nadia's for lunch.
i ended up having a tomato and egg baguette.

a while ago, the song i had a version of mercy by mojave 3 it was the strings version. and i was trying
to figure out where i could get it. apparently it was on this free doc marten's cd.
fun with english.
trolley
cart. like a shopping cart or luggage cart.
"This basket is too small for all the items on my shopping list, I should have grabbed a trolley instead."

after lunch i was still hungry.
so i went and got a flapjack from nadia's.
a flapjack, as mike&melissa mike puts it, is like granola dipped in chocolate.
it's something close to that, but not quite granola.
it sure is tasty though.

after work randall and i walked around town for a bit.
there's a view of king's college from the back and it's great.
it always makes me giggle, because,
(even though most of cambridge feels like a movie set),
this view seems more like one that anything else.
and i always have to stop and go, "and i live here?!?" *giggle giggle*
eventually we decided to get something to eat.
so we went to pizza express.
we split a mozarella/tomato salad and i had mushroom pizza.
we also had some red wine.
afterwards we made it to the grocery store just as it was closing.
we decided that we should get some juice and split a kitkat.
