for the last 4 days
bao didn't go to school again today.
so again i played the good big sister.
soup, hot lemonade, the comics, medicine, and juice on the carebear tray.
then we decided to watch cartoons.
during the cartoons i decided to eat a jawbreaker, or at least part of it.
i got one from easter and i've been nursing it for about 4 days now.
i'm only half way through, but everytime i make progress i have to stop.
my teeth feel like they're going to fall out.

burning down the house
this evening i was responsible for making dinner.
i felt like having potatoes but the only ones left were sort of rubbery
(you know, that way pototoes get when they're getting old).
but i cooked them anyway.
i also made some chicken and green beans.
it was okay, i just nearly burnt it all.
i'm getting out of practice.
afterwards we had cookies.
