this looks like vomit
this morning we decided to go to the bagelry for some bagels.
i was going to get the usual pocketpig breakfast,
but at the last minute i decided to get the new red pepper cashew spread instead.
it tasted pretty good,
but it looked really disgusting.
when i opened up the bagel wrapping the spread had oozed out in a sick way.
it looked just like vomit,
but i'd eat it again.

goonie adventure
after breakfast we drove back over the hill to go to the mall.
the watch i had bought randall was too big and we had to exchange it.
i knew i should have just given it to him yesterday when he guessed.
this way we could have avoided going there again.
while we were on our way back to santa cruz cindy called.
her and bridget were also almost in santa cruz and would meet us at randall's.
they arrived a little after we did with a gallon jug, a bottle of vodka, and a ton of spicy V8.
for randall's birthday they decided we should have bloody marys on the beach.
so we got all mixed up, all dressed up, and all readied up and headed to the beach.
while there we got too much sun, too much liquid, and "surprise" birthday chocolate cupcakes.

chug it down
once we had enough beach time, we went back to randall's house.
amy and brad had left him some goonie adventure birthday clues.
so while he tore apart the house we watched cartoons.
afterwards we headed to shogun for birthday sushi goodnes.
the wait was going to be 45 minutes so we went to 99 bottles to kill time.
i ended up drinking my beer as well as finishing cindy's and bridget's.
when we got to sushi we ordered, it arrived, and we chowed down.
even the waitress thought we ate too fast.
after the meal, they brought out some green tea ice cream with a candle in it.
everyone was surprised, no one saw me tell the hostess it was randall's birthday.

it won't kill you
when we got back from sushi brad was on his way to the store.
he was going to make sidecars and wanted to know if we wanted any.
i wanted to say no, but they used to be my favorite drink.
so i said yes.
while he was gone the cops arrived to talk to amy
(her and brad got their bikes stolen from their own house).
apparently bridget, cindy and i were slightly tipsy and should have left.
but we were also only slightly tipsy and so we didn't realize these things.
when brad returned he made us the most crazy strong sidecars.
then we settled in for a night of cookies and saturday night live.
i used to want to be on the show when i was in my teens.
i think part of me still does.
