which tastes better?

storm troopers
i woke up some time after noon today.
i feel like i should mention that i didn't go to bed until 5:30am.
so it's not like i just sleep all day long.
well i do sleep all day long, i just don't sleep at night.
when i got up i went downstairs and watched the news.
i looked for breakfast but there really wasn't anything, so i had a granola bar.
while sitting there the storm really started to pick up,
it rained all afternoon, and the wind, oh the wind.

they were gross the first time around
we had to pick bao up from school at 4:30 today.
usually he carpools, but if he has anything after school,
then he needs a ride (since they now live so far from anything).
so my dad and i went to pick him up.
on our way, my dad gave me some mint skittles.
i do not understand this phenomena.
skittles weren't meant to be mint flavored.
i first had these about 9 months ago,
and i thought they were nasty then,
and i think they are nasty now.
buttermint skittles, why???

spaghetti or mommy's cooking?
after picking up bao we stopped at the craft store.
i was going to make another notebook and needed more glue and stuff,
then we went to the grocery store for milk and stuff.
bao must've put at least 25 bucks in "powerade-ish" type drinks in our cart.
when we got home my mom had made dinner already.
it was spaghetti noodles with this pork/carrot/turnip/egg/clove/ stew-ish stuff on top.
i don't know how to describe it, but i was so hungry, it tasted amazing.
she was making a huge batch to bring to some potluck she's going to.
we also had honeydew for dessert, i always forget how much i really like honeydew.
