orange felt notebooks
this morning i went to get a glass of milk,
i poured it in a glass, brought it to my lips and PHITOOEY!
i spit it out, it was bad.
then i decided to eat some cheesecake bao had leftover from the weekend,
and after a few bites, PHITOOEY! it was also bad.
so i gave up on breakfast and went back upstairs.
yesterday i bought orange felt and kindergarten paper.
and today i decided to put them together into some sort of notebook form.
i've been ridiculously crafty lately. first bags, then purses, now notebooks.
but the notebooks are more fun than the purses,
so i think i'll make some more.
and if they come out okay, maybe you can have one too.

i don't know the story behind this, but samshrew and bao use
it all the time, and now i use it too. it's a conglomeration of
fat and ass all smushed together = fass. rhymes with ass.
"I decided to be a fass and eat the chocolate cheesecake for breakfast."

design and layout
after making my new orange felt prototype notebook,
i decided i would catch up on pocketpig,
but that didn't last very long, as i remembered i wanted to refine my quark skills.
so i made a few mockup pages of a non-existant magazines.
then i remembered why i needed to refine my skills.
then i got bored of the computer, and wanted to go outside.
but it was raining, raining, raining.
so i had an apple and some cheetos and watched the news instead.

false alarm
when bao got home from school we talked about saturday night live.
then we talked about barbecue sauce.
then we wondered how barbecue sauce came to be,
then we decided we'd write some stuff on barbecue sauce.
then we decided we'd wait until a specified date to write about bbq sauce.
then it was time for dinner.
we ate broiled steak with barbecue sauce and mashed potatoes and corn.
the smoke alarm went off when my dad opened the broiler.
but it wasn't smokey at all, it's just a sensitive alarm.
but i guess that's a good thing.
