enter the bigtop
this morning we decided to head to the circus.
there's this place downtown called pancake circus,
it's an old breakfast/diner type of place.
apparently wes used to really enjoy going there.
i had never been there, but had always heard about it,
and bridget is mad for pancakes so i decided we had to see what it was all about.
so i called up juju and wes and we all headed over.
the place was amazing, circus animal cutouts, leftover 50s diner decor,
wood paneled, orange and yellow color scheme, the works.
but the best part was the floor, oh my god was it disgusting.
my better judgement told me not to eat there,
but i ordered the pancake sandwich anyway.
while there bridget found an opened jolly rancher in her purse,
she didn't know what to do with it, so we told her to throw it on the floor.
it landed next to a half eaten sausage link.

dye eggs for a brighter tomorrow
when we finished with pancakes we headed over to wishing well.
wishing well is the most amazing trinket store ever.
i think perhaps it was a mistake to bring them there, but it was fun.
afterwards i got dropped off and cindy and bridget headed on home.
later in the evening samshrew, bao and i dyed some easter eggs.
we all know that we're getting too old for this,
but inside i think we are all 8.
then we ate dinner, we had tuna alfredo.
sidenote: there is always one egg that turns that awful brown color.
why is that?

departure time = 4:30am
after dinner i got my stuff together and headed downtown.
the drama was playing at the distillery and i told chris i'd be there.
i meant to bring my camera to take pictures, but i sort of forgot.
actually, i think i intentionally forgot, i just didn't feel like it,
but when i was there, i wished i had brought it.
after the show juju and chris and i went to del taco.
then we headed to juju's house.
she fed us creme eggs and copied some cds.
while we were waiting for the copies, chris and i got talking.
we sort of started playing 20 questions,
but it was more like "chris interrogation time."
i left juju's house at 4:30am.
