cranberry craze
this morning samshrew and i had to drop bao off at a friend's house.
he's working on some english project thing for school.
so we kicked him out of the car and then went looking for fun.
we ended up going to the bank and getting a jamba juice instead.
i had the cranberry craze, samshrew had something else.
i drank mine in about half the time she drank hers.
i always do that with jamba juice, i just drink too fast i suppose.

same after all these years
after jamba juice samshrew and i went to the outlet stores,
but we didn't find anything interesting so we decided to go back home.
i ended up missing the turn, so we took the really long way home.
we accidentally passed this restaurant called the sunflower.
i used to go there in high school, but i haven't been there in a really long time.
it's sort of a veggie/vegan place, something that was unique in high school,
but pretty commonplace after living for over 5 years in santa cruz.
samshrew and i split an avacado sandwich and a lemonade.
they still make the best avacado sandwiches ever.

whose crab?
after eating, samshrew and i drove around some more.
it's always nice to hang out with her.
for sisters, who are such different people,
i think we get along surprisingly well.
it wasn't always so, but i'm glad it is now.
when i was about to run out of gas we headed back home.
a bit later, my mom started making dinner,
she made rice, porkchops, veggies, and crab.
after dinner i decided it was time to pocketpig,
but i didn't feel like doing the drawings.
so i had samshrew draw tonite's dinner.
she drew a little "krappie".
but my mom was looking over her shoulder and making fun of her.
then my mom decided she wanted to have a turn.
she's never even held the clie before, so this was going to be funny
(or so we thought).
but it turns out her crab isn't half bad.

sidenote: we call crabs krappie because of some bad play on (chinese & english) words.
