breakfast with the captain
this morning i woke up and decided to get into the routine again.
so i stole a bowl of bao's captain crunch.
then i went to pick up bao from school.
he had a bag of cookie dough and a cello.

meet the drama
at around 6 i went downtown to meet chris and co.
they're in a band called the drama.
i said i'd come over and take some photos,
but the lighting was sort of bad.
so i had to make due.
they look okay, but there's just no zing.

is there a dr. in the house?
after the photo shoot we sat around their house for a while.
we thought about getting something to eat,
but we ran out of time.
we were going to see this band called the clinic.
they're this british band that played a pretty big venue in the city last night.
and tonite they were playing a tiny cafe in sacramento.
and i wasn't that impressed.
while there i had a chai.
chai always makes my heart beat too fast and my hands shake.
i love the stuff.

welcome to willies
after the show chris and juju decided they were starving.
so we headed to willie's.
i'd never been there before, so it was a new experience.
greasy grilled cheeses and the craziest onion rings.
these onion rings were an experience all on their own.
this place is so greasy, they have napkin dispensers mounted on the walls.
i felt the zits form while we were just sitting there.
i have to go back again.
