preventative measures
i woke up today and was hoping to get a hair cut.
juju was going to see chris for a snip and i was going to go along.
but chris was at the doctor's office with a case of strep throat.
so the haircut was postponed.
while talking to juju on the phone,
i mentioned a few things i have on the queue to do for fun.
it got me inspired, so i decided to go to the fabric store.
before i left i had a bowl of chicken rotini soup.

hand crafted
the other day i found this pattern for a purse.
and for some reason i decided i was going to make it.
it's not really my style, nor will it go with my stuff,
(it's a bit more "soft and girly" than the rest of my stuff)
but i decided i wanted to make it anyway.
i did half of it before dinner (which was fish, potatoes, rice and greens)
and the other half after. it took hours.
if i had used a sewing machine, it would have taken minutes.
while i was sitting up sewing i started to feel really ill.
just hot and cold and cold and hot, so i took my temperature.
it was 103.8
