old skool style

to hell with breakfast
last night, i didn't get home until sometime after 4am, maybe 4:30.
so i didn't exactly get up early.
it was well past morning and working its way into afternoon when i got up.
and since i had missed breakfast time, i started right into lunch.
i had some salad in a bag with avacado and tomatoes.

today is my 98th day of unemployment. i don't think i would know how to have a job if one came up and offered itself to me. the worst part is that i don't really want a job right now. it would be nice to have one, but i want one that i'll enjoy. not just one to pay the bills. i'm thinking about a life in the publishing industry. does anyone have any tips and hints for me? or better yet, a job idea?

the old style recipe
this evening my dad made spaghetti for dinner.
he has this recipe that's been passed down the family for years.
it ends up being such a thick sauce that it's the consistency of sloppy joes.
only spaghetti sauce flavored and not barbecue sloppy joe flavor.

a la mode
today i really didn't do anything.
this seems to be an ongoing trend. it's like being in a rut,
only you don't really mind.
my problem is that i get really excited over things,
and start them, but then never follow through with them.
so many half finished projects.
the thing is i work best under pressure with a deadline,
but if there is no deadline, then i don't know how to finish things.
after dinner we had pie. apple. with french vanilla ice cream.
i made bao dish it out for us.
