i wanted to leave santa cruz at around 11 this morning.
but last night i was so tired, i didn't want to set the alarm clock.
and when i woke up i didn't feel like leaving quite yet,
so i procrastinated with a cup of hot cocoa with a shot of vanilla (torani).
but eventually it was time to leave.
randall followed me out to move his car into my spot.
and waved goodbye, he was still in his pajamas,
i think it was about 1pm.

i stumbled upon this picture while doing some research the other day.
all i can say is that "i don't get it." i have no idea what the context is, but
it is a really weird image.

i decided to take a detour home so that i could stop and see samshrew
and buy a hut dog.
hut dog is this cute dog that is shaped like a house.
i've seen it at this one store three times now, and i really want it,
but i keep not buying it.
so today i decided i had to stop the shenanigans and go buy the hut dog.
when i got to berkeley, i picked up samshrew and we headed to the asian markets.
luckily there was one hut dog left (but sadly it wasn't the squishy fat one).
after purchasing the hut dog we ate at the ranch market food area.
we shared general chicken, brocolli beef, green beans and fish with rice.
then we went grocery shopping, i took samshrew home and headed back to sacramento.
i wanted to get back to sacramento at around 3, i didn't get there until 7.
