today i woke up at a respectable time.
in fact, it was still considered "breakfast time" by most.
so i had breakfast.
there's too much milk in the fridge right now,
so i decided to have some cereal -- frosted cheerios.

to take with you?
after breakfast i went through the morning motions,
i read the paper and then help grandma with today's crossword,
then i got ready and packed up my stuff.
i was getting ready to drive to santa cruz.
before i left my mom had made some tofu/salmon/green bean stirfry.
pretty much, tofu a la leftovers with rice.
i wasn't going to have any, because i wanted to get going.
but it smelled so good i had to have some before leaving.
that and my mom was making the scary "eat the tofu" face.

i got to santa cruz at around 6pm.
randall wasn't going to be home until about 7, so i went to scottel's.
but he wasn't there.
so i ventured downtown to do some meandering.
i had a cookie, read some books, looked at beads, clothes and paper.
then i went to randall's house.
apparently he had gotten home early, so i could have gone straight there.
when i got there, we went to vallarta for quesadillas.

bon voyage drinks
after dinner we called up kat and scottel.
we were going to try and meet up with them for drinks.
they were supposed to move to portland in the morning,
but a few glitches happened and they weren't leaving until monday.
so we decided to have a farewell drink.
i had a vodka tonic, everyone else had white russians.
then randall decided to have a 'zombie'
sidenote: i think that drink has that name for a reason.
