before i left town,
i had lunch with randall.
he made ramen and jalapeno poppers.
not the world's healthiest lunch,
but the kind i was craving.
afterwards i packed up stuff and hit the road.
i was driving to my parent's house for christmas.

christmas shopping, who has time to miss people?

when i arrived at my parent's house,
i was slightly hungry.
it takes about 2.5 hours to get there.
my dad gave me a pear.
apparently it came in this huge box of snacky-stuff.
it was part of the christmas gift from my aunt.
she always sends us stuff like that.
usually it's cheese log and beef stick,
but this year it was fruits and cookies.
it was probably the best pear i've ever had.

later in the evening we went to fry's.
my dad wanted to do some last minute christmas shopping.
we had to pick up my brother first,
he was out gift wrapping for the music program.
on our way home,
we decided to stop and pick up pizzas.
they go to papa murphy's where it is take and bake.
if i was ever forced to work in the food industry again,
i think a job there would be okay.
the food is raw and there's no nasty grease and no one eats there.
