i bet he forgot about these
today i remembered we had toaster strudels in the freezer.
they had bought them for my brother for breakfast,
but i bet he forgot about them.
so i decided to eat a few for breakfast.
only i always do this stupid thing when preparing them.
once they pop out of the toaster, i put the frosting on like directed,
then i cut into it and -pow- still cold inside.
but since you have the frosting on it, you can't put it back in the toaster.
so i microwave them, and that's not at all the same.

you hungry?
i spent the next few hours trying to put an outfit together.
i'm going to a wedding on saturday and i don't know what to wear.
i don't the rules for what is too dressy, or not dressy enough,
whether i can or can't wear black, or gray, or white.
"dress like you're going to church," they said.
too bad i don't go to church.
after deciding nothing i had was good enough, i went out shopping.
shopping with grandma is always a fun experience.
we're pretty different people and i'm not really into anything she likes.
but what can you do? just nod and go, "yeah that's nice" and move right along.
and pray that she doesn't think your nod of approval was a sign for her to surprise you with it.
sidenote: while at the mall grandma wanted a hot dog, so i got one too.

fancy meeting you here
after shopping all afternoon we stopped at the grocery store.
my mom mentioned that i'd have to cook dinner tonite,
so we stopped to pick up something good.
when we pulled into the parking lot i noticed a van similar to my dad's.
then i realized it was my dad's van.
he and my brother had just come from getting a haircut,
and were going to pick up something to make for dinner.
so we roamed around the store and finally agreed on an ovenbake.
which was a creamy-chicken and veggie thing (like a pot pie filling) with a biscuit top.
