college hopping
this morning i woke up to the sound of drilling.
i live above a bunch of shops, and they are refurbishing one.
it's a noise i've heard before in the last few days,
but usually it doesn't happen until the afternoon.
today however it started at 9.
but thanks to daylight savings time it felt like 10,
so it wasn't so bad.
i had just finished eating fried eggs on toast with strawberry jam
(i know, it sounds revolting, but it is so tasty!)
when turonimo called and asked if i wanted to get coffee.
so he came over and we went to indigo.
we got our coffees to go and then walked around the different colleges.
it was a really nice day out. i wished i had my camera.

this american life
after a while turonimo and i parted ways.
i had to go to the grocery store and he was going to go buy cds.
while at the store i bought some food for dinner.
i feel obligated to at least try and use the stove.
it's gotten really bad lately.
i use the stove on sundays, which is okay except,
i have the horrible habit of leaving the dishes until the next time i use the stove,
which is usually okay, except lately it's only once every week or so,
so now when i want to use the stove i also have to clean week old dishes.
and that, is just sort of pathetic.
for dinner i had asparagus soup with carrots, peas and potatoes.
then i listened to a bunch of "this american life" while i ate.
