okay, let's go.
this morning i had a bunch of errands to run before work,
and i also don't see the point of going to work anymore.
this transition time is really strange.
it's hard to work for a company that is laying you off.
yet you're glad that they're giving a little bit of notice.
and yet you don't want to do anywork.
so i just keep coming in late, today i arrived in time for lunch.
i mean, there's no sense in turning down a free lunch.
so i had a baguette from nadia's, salami and basil with mozarella.

fun with english.
butty
sandwich. it's called this because they put butter on their bread.
"Let's go grab some butties and eat in the park."

three boxes
after work melissa drove me home so that i could bring all my stuff.
it's funny when i left santa cruz, i packed my office into a box,
but i never really got around to unpacking it over here.
i guess it will make the move back easier.
three boxes of junk. i should just throw most of it out,
but i'm a pack rat and i keep everything.
i wish there was a way to break that habit.
it would be nice to not have so much junk to lug around.
once i got home i decided to keep it a quiet night at home.
i read a bit and ate some breaded mashed potato things.
then i drew a few pictures.
one of park avenue, they just signed to a small label, i think that's great.
