10.1.03 - stay in bed, okay?
the culprit
off to bad starts
this morning was a disaster. nothing seemed to go accordingly. i woke up late. took too long to get ready and was pretty much in complete disarray all morning. when i finally left for work i was hoping to have it together and arrive in a semi-decent fashion. but that wasn't to happen. as i was leaving the house, the yogurt i brought for breakfast fell to the ground. there was yogurt all over the floor and all over me. i cleaned up the mess and discovered that the lid had split open. most of the yogurt was still in the container so i decided to take it with me anyway. when i got to work i picked up the yogurt and discovered there was a yogurt mess where it had been sitting. and now there was also a yogurt mess all over me (again) and all over everything it came in to contact with. apparently not only did the lid split open, the side of the container did too. talk about sucks. sidenote: to get that picture i had to squeeze the container to show the crack. at standstill you couldn't see the crack at all.
all this acid
let's get this show on the road
after work i headed to class. today was printing day. well proofing day anyway. apparently the stone is still "learning" and so you can only ink it and run it thru the press a few times. so i proofed my print, cleaned up my mess and left early. i stuck around last week for no reason and i didn't feel like doing it again today. so i left and went home and thought about making dinner. but i ended up snacking on some chips first and then i wasn't hungry enough to cook, so i just had a bowl of cereal instead. sidenote: the proof came out well. i think i'll be able to get a decent edition out of it...hopefully. sidenote2: there was an awful lot of nitric acid precariously set atop an air filter high in the air. just waiting to get knocked down.
