war all the time
this morning i had to remember to wear "comfy shoes." every now and again we do really
well at work and sell a ton of records. that means we have to go to the sister-warehouse (as
in sister company, not a warehouse that sells sisters) and help get the CDs ready for
packing. it's usually kind of fun to get out of the office for a while. but after more than an hour
of prepping CDs, your feet usually hurt (since we don't get chairs and i noticed that the real
employees there do. they also get breaks and we don't. what is with that?), and your hands smell
like rubber bands. so i guess after a few hours it's not so fun. but if we are over there
that is usually a good sign. one of oh hey we sold a lot of records therefore i still have a job.

where does it all come from?
i still don't have a washing machine at my house. this means that every other tuesday
i gather up all of our clothes and head over to my mom's. it wouldn't be so bad,
but since i only go every other week, there are a ton of clothes. also, i'm not sure how
but randall seems to have more clothes than i do. he works from home twice a week.
that means he could technically stay in his pajamas all day. so what is he doing? how
does he have so many clothes? i am under the impression that they're not all dirty.
i think they just don't get put away from the week before and then they end up in the
dirty pile again. but that's just my theory...

oh, the fish.
once i got my laundry started, my mom declared dinnertime. we were having a few dishes, and there
was (as there always is) a lot of food. and yet, it didn't look like enough. i couldn't figure out why, but
a few minutes later she cried out "AIYA! i forgot the fish!" apparently there was fish in the
microwave. but it was too late to start cooking, we were already almost done. sidenote: microwave
fish is her favorite thing to make this summer. and surprisingly it makes the best steamed fish
ever. so perfect and so good. too bad we didn't get to have any.
