always helping out
this morning bao and sam were supposed to call me when they were ready to go shopping. bao is leaving
for college soon and he wanted our help picking out some new threads. but when they called
they said my mom wanted to know if i could take some pictures for her first. she was putting a new
house on the market and wanted to make flyers. i said sure and met them at the house (it was in their
neighborhood anyway). i thought i'd take the pictures, download them to their computer and then take off,
but i was wrong. i ended up making the stupid flyer too.

eh, where you at?
once the flyer was finally finished, bao decided he wanted to go to old navy. so we headed out
to the one in folsom. after trying on a million things and deciding on a few, it was time to leave.
it was also time for lunch, but there weren't that many choices nearby. we settled on bel air supermarket
because it had a bunch of options. bao got pissed off, because for some reason he hates eating at
the grocery store. but they have a separate eating area, so i don't see what the problem is.
especially because they make great sandwiches. afterwards we headed to the outlet stores. i bought
a salad spinner.

after a fun-filled afternoon at the outlet stores, randall and i said goodbye to bao and samshrew.
then we headed home (after a small battery-buying detour at best buy). we ended up sitting around
and then eventually making dinner. neither of us can remember what we had. but afterwards we
got the bikes out and went for a ride. we decided to check out the nearby neighborhoods and ended up
riding pretty far. we made it all the way to the "club house." it's a big pool/rec center area for
residents of the neighborhood only. sadly it's not our neighborhood, so we don't get to use it.
which is sort of a shame because sacramento is really hot and a pool on demand sounds really good.
