this morning i asked randall if he could make me a chai with espresso.
i also asked if i could steal one of his cliff bars for breakfast. he said yes to both questions.
so i took the peanut butter flavored one and he put the chai into a travel mug for me.
on my way to work i was thinking about how i was a pretty lucky girl to have a boyfriend who
makes chai espressos for me. then i took a sip. and the lid wasn't fastened correctly.
and suddenly i wasn't so sure i was that lucky.
thousands of people come out to play
shoreline. but where is the shore?
at around 4 oclock wes arrived at my work. we were heading to sunnyvale to pick up randall
for the radiohead concert (they were playing in mountain view which is minutes from randall's
work). originally we were going to stop and grab a bite to eat before we got to sunnyvale,
but then i realized randall probably didn't eat anything for dinner and maybe he'd want to go to.
so we waited for him. we ended up going to wendy's because it was on the way. i had a bacon
cheeseburger thing. i'm not sure why. but it seems like i'm ordering a lot of stuff with bacon
lately.
i managed to capture the only time he was actually in this camera angle

quite possibly the worst show
after we'd grabbed something to eat we made our way to the shoreline. we were meeting bidge and juju
and ammon and his crew there. we ended up sitting in the same place we did last time. out in the
back of the field near the brown projection building. the show sounded amazing. but it was
the worst show i had ever seen. actually i didn't really see anything. so technically it was
the worst show i didn't get to really see. the shoreline is a giant venue with large video screens
for the suckers who have to sit in the back. unfortunately they had their cameras set to a 10 second
loop. 10 seconds of one angle, then the next, then the next. unfortunately half the camera shots
didn't seem to have anyone/anything in them. talk about a waste. i left wanting my money back.
