today randall and i decided to go run some errands.
the freeways around here all run east-west. and there are two
that go north-south. so if you need to go north-east you have to
take two freeways. and you have to go out of your way to do so. but, all the best stores
are that way. so we deal with it. today we headed to whole foods. it's a pretty new
store and has a really great eatery area. i ended up getting the potato soup and foccacia bread.
we also bought some great cheese. they have a whole area devoted to cheese, and the best part
is that they have it set up so you can just sample so many different kinds. we settled a cheese
that is like a cross between gouda and parmesan. so tasty! sidenote: this lady and her family
was sitting outside. i don't know why but she just looked really bitchy.
costco world order
seeing you again, and again
after lunch we decided to head over to costco. it seems like all we ever do is go to the store.
i am so sick of shopping, but we needed to get stuff like toilet paper and paper towels and all those
other things you should have in your house. and we decided it'd be more economical to head
to cost-co. while we were there we ran into camille. she used to work in my building, but now
works across the street. i don't really know her that well. i get the feeling we'd get along
if we hung out. but i also get the feeling that we will never hang out. it's funny how things
work that way.
a little shut eye
it makes me so drowsy
so my doctor's put me on a new medication. and apparently it takes a while to get used to.
i hope my body adjusts soon because it just makes me sleepy sleepy.
when we got home i was planning on spending the afternoon updating pocketpig and
maybe start on some other projects. but instead i sat on the couch and the next thing
i knew i was fast asleep and didn't wake up until several hours later.
