80s shirt
living theater
last night i was up really late altering a dumb shirt.
we sometimes get free junk at work and last week a bunch of us got free shirts. i didn't really want to wear the shirt. but it's by the american apparel people and they have the softest bestest shirts. so i had to have one. in order to make it more fun, i cut the collar and sleeves and scrunched the sleeves and added some hot pink ribbon. i felt a bit silly wearing it, but hey why not? before leaving for work i meant to grab something to eat, but was so caught up in my new 80's alterations, that i forgot to.
ice cream in the freezer
candy is one thing, but ice cream?
there's a lady in the office named lynne who is the candy pusher. every office has one. you know, the lady that sits in the highest trafficked area and has a HUGE bowl of snacks. well lynne used to be only candy and occasionally chips, but lately she's gone overboard. there's been candies, cookies, chips, cake, you name it. well today she went to far. she came around to each desk with scoops of coldstone creamery ice cream on them. not just any old ice cream, but coldstone ice cream! that is madness i think she has finally snapped.
randall dinner
let's do something fun.
when i got home from work randall jumped into the car and we went to the store. apparently we didn't have all the ingredients for tonight's dinner. a half hour later we were back in our kitchen and randall started cooking dinner. before we left, he had put the chicken into a salt bath (apparently this is the secret) and now he was preparing pan-roasted chicken with a rosemary-butter sauce. i think he should go back to school to become a food scientist. i think it would be pretty hot/awesome.
he tells me that that's obviously what i want to do.
not him.
